David Cohen

David Cohen has extensive experience in representing individuals, large-size, mid-size and small-size companies in real estate transactions. Mr. Cohen also has expertise in private equity transactions, contract negotiation, review and construction.

Liam Krahe


Area of Focus

Real Estate, Corporate, Financing, Tax, General Business Transactions, and General Contract Review and Negotiation

Liam has extensive experience representing clients in complex commercial real estate transactions including leasing, financing, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, syndications, and operations. Liam regularly advises developers and property owners in the purchase, sale, and development of commercial real estate, including retail shopping centers, office buildings, multifamily and mixed-use projects, and hotel and hospitality transactions. He represents commercial landlords and tenants in the preparation, negotiation, and workout of office and retail leases. In addition, Liam’s practice includes representing clients on the formation and structuring of joint ventures and syndications, including advising on choice of entity and jurisdiction, developing offering terms, and preparing disclosure and investment documents.

Zoha Aseem


Area of Focus

Commercial Real Estate Transactions; Contract Drafting and Negotiations

Zoha Aseem is experienced in corporate commercial transactions and manages negotiations for commercial leases and property acquisitions, including the requisite contract drafting. She regularly represents landlords and tenants to draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements for retail shopping space and office space. Zoha also advises property owners and purchasers in real estate sale transactions.

Yvonne Love


Area of Focus

Yvonne Love has extensive experience representing clients in the acquisition and sale of commercial properties. She regularly advises clients on the legal matters of their commercial real estate deals, including acquisition, development, drafting and negotiating contracts, leasing, and dispositions.

Ms. Love’s experience extends to matters arising out of the purchase and sale of businesses, partnership and corporate dissolution actions, commercial lease disputes, and cases involving employment agreements and enforcement of non-compete clauses.

Armond Faris


Area of Focus

Corporate, General Business Transactions, Antitrust, Contract Drafting

Armond represents clients in a variety of transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, shareholder agreements, employment agreements, corporate governance, finance, succession planning, and complex commercial real estate purchase and lease agreements. He has represented both sellers and buyers in varied business mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate transactions. Armond has extensive experience drafting and negotiating contracts.

Ashley Wedding


Area of Focus

Purchases and Sales, Leases, Title Work.

Ashley Wedding has represented clients in both transactional real estate matters and real-estate litigation. Ms. Wedding has represented clients in the purchase and sales of vacant land, assemblages, purchase and sale of office buildings, leases of office and retail space and the purchase and sale of a variety of different types of real property. She evaluates title reports and provides guidance and counsel to buyers and sellers on a variety of title issues including easements, restrictive covenants, and assists clients with removing clouds on title.

Mary Petroni


Area of Focus

Client Relations & Services, Marketing & Communications

Mary Petroni has extensive experience in client relations and works closely with our lawyers to ensure a consistent focus on personalized client services. She assists our attorneys and clients through the due diligence process to accelerate closing. Mary also manages marketing and communication initiatives for the firm and is responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and delivering communications generated by Cohen Property Law Group, PLLC through the appropriate channels.

Aaron Yousefzadeh


Area of Focus :  Intern

 

Aaron is a third-year law student at UCLA School of Law. In 2018, he received a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA, summa cum laude. In Summer 2021, he served as a Judicial Extern for The Honorable John C. Lawson II and The Honorable Anthony A. Trendacosta.

Aaron has a special interest in real estate transactions and has completed coursework pertaining to contract drafting. In his free time, he enjoys writing songs and spending time in nature.

Katherine Chevalier


Area of Focus:  Intern

Katherine is a second-year law student at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

She is a member of her law school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) team, Health Law Society, and Business Law Society. She has a special interest in business and real estate transactions.

Before deciding to go to law school, Katherine was a front desk manager at a dental office for four years, where she fell in love with the dental industry. After graduating from law school, she hopes to combine her experience in dental office administration with her legal career.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, Thor, Jane, Loki, and Hela.

Jamie Zipper


Area of Focus:  Intern

Jamie is a second-year law student at the University of Miami School of Law.

In Summer 2022, she served as a Judicial Extern for The Honorable Judge Robert J. Luck at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Jamie received a B.A. in Fashion Design and Management from Cornell University in 2021.

Jamie has a special interest in business transactions, specifically in the medical field. Prior to law school, Jamie interned for iRecoveryUSA, a telehealth medical startup for addiction therapy. She also has previous experience interning for an orthodontist practice.
